Dr. Terri believes that chocolate should definitely be included as a major food group! The only thing she loves more than sweets is sharing them. She also shares her considerable knowledge of not one but two professions—law and medicine.
In fact, she earned her BA and law degree at the University of Illinois, Champaign before deciding to become a doctor. She even made Law Review and is still a member of the Illinois Bar. But in 1986 she decided to pursue a degree in Medicine and completed her Pre-Med science requirements at the University of Chicago. From 1986 to 1987 she researched NMDA-mediated spinal cord injury and prevention of neuronal damage with Dr. Lawrence Isaac at the University of Illinois Medical Center. Earning her MD at Northwestern University Medical School, she did her residency at Children’s Memorial.

She is board certified in pediatrics and licensed in Illinois. She also is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Terri is interested in many different causes and has not only worked on pro bono law projects but has patriotically assisted with recruitment and organization, fund-raising, administrative management, media strategy and speaking engagements on several political campaigns.
