Chuck Braverman loves to make children laugh and he does it all the time. He knows that laughter has a special healing property all its own and he’s been dispensing it liberally among our patients for almost twenty years. But he hasn’t stopped there. In addition to his amazing animal noises and knowledge of superhero theme songs, he truly enjoys teaching. Dr. Chuck has been an invited speaker at many parent education classes at Good Shepherd Hospital and welcomes all questions. He also considers himself a lifelong learner, always pursuing the latest pediatric research to ensure the highest quality care for all his patients from infants to adolescents.

Dr. Chuck completed his degree at the University of Illinois School of Medicine and residency at the Children’s Medical Center of Lutheran General Hospital. In 2009, Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital awarded Dr. Chuck for his compassionate care going above and beyond the norm. He is board certified in pediatrics, licensed in Illinois and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Chuck practices in the Barrington office.
