Children’s health care needs are different from those of adults. Many of our patients are too young to talk, let alone explain how they feel. So we have to build a rapport that goes beyond words.

We support the care you give your children with one-on-one education whenever it’s needed. We find this assistance works best when your family has a close relationship with a particular pediatrician. Of course, other physicians are always ready to see your child if your doctor is unavailable on a specific day.

At PS, we know that your child's health encompasses all aspects of growth and development including the psychosocial aspects of childhood and adolescence. Should he or she ever need a referral to a sub specialist, we’ll help facilitate this quickly and effectively. In addition, we’ll always call you to let you know the results of any lab tests—even if the results are negative! On a practical note—we participate in over 25 insurance companies.

We are affiliated with Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington, IL and Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago, IL.  Depending on your child’s specific healthcare needs, we also refer children to Advocate Lutheran General Children’s Hospital, University of Chicago Comer Children’s Hospital, Northwest Community Hospital, Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, and Centegra.
