Dear Patients of Pediatric Specialists,
As all of you know, we are facing unprecedented times with many unknowns. As society as we know it shuts down around us, we want all of you to know that we are still there for you. However, in order to do our part in helping slow the spread of coronavirus, we are making changes in our office scheduling in order to make our office as safe as possible for you. These changes include:
1. Eliminating our walk-in sick clinics during the week and on Saturday until further notice.
2. We will save our morning schedules for well check-ups only. We ask that if your child is sick, please do not bring them for a well visit.
3. The afternoon will be saved for sick visits only – by appointment.
4. Saturdays will be reserved for sick appointments by appointment only.
We realize that there are other issues that do not necessarily fall into a “well visit” or a “sick visit” such as follow-up of chronic conditions. In addition, you may have a sick child that you want evaluated but do not want to bring into the office. We hope to be able to do many of these visits via phone calls or “telemedicine” using Skype or Face time. (Please understand that there will be charges for phone/telemedicine management “visits”.)
By taking the above precautions, we will be able to continue to take care of all of you and minimize your risk of illness exposure.
